A Magical Wedding in Myrrhee: The Masons’ Perfect Day
On Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, I had the incredible honor of capturing the beautiful wedding of The Masons in the picturesque town of Myrrhee, Victoria, Australia. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The setting was perfect, the weather was gorgeous, and the love between this amazing couple was absolutely palpable. I’m so excited to share some of my favorite moments from their special day and give you a glimpse into the magic that unfolded.
One of the most touching moments of the weekend came with a fun and serendipitous twist—did you know that the celebrant, had married the groom’s parents 30 years ago? Talk about a full-circle moment! It made the ceremony even more meaningful, knowing that this wasn’t just a wedding between two people—it was a continuation of love and tradition within a family.
getting ready: A cozy start to the big day
The day began at the beautiful Mt. Bellevue, where the Amanda and Dylan prepared for their big day in separate but equally stunning accommodations. The morning was filled with excitement as the couple, surrounded by their closest friends and family, got ready for the ceremony ahead. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and full of anticipation.
Amanda’s hair was expertly styled by the talented Amanda Bell Hairstylist, giving her a timeless yet fresh look that was perfect for her big day. Madison Makeup Artist worked her magic, making sure the bride felt radiant and confident as she got ready to walk down the aisle.
celebration & Reception: Fun, Laughter & Dancing
After the ceremony, the party continued under the gorgeous marquee, creating a romantic atmosphere that everyone could enjoy. The guests were treated to mouthwatering dishes by Gold Hammer Catering, and the music, courtesy of Liam Blunt’s Funky Rhythm Train, kept everyone on their feet all night long.
There were so many unforgettable moments throughout the evening—whether it was a touching speech, a spontaneous dance, or the beautiful, elegant cake by Bella Gateaux, every detail was perfectly executed. It was clear that this celebration was a labor of love, and every vendor contributed to making it a day to remember.
As a photographer, I always love to capture the small details that make a wedding day unique. From the delicate florals to the soft light streaming through the marquee, every element of The Masons’ wedding had its own magic. I especially loved capturing the raw emotion of the couple as they shared their first dance and later celebrated with their friends and family on the dance floor. The attention to detail was evident, and it was such a pleasure to capture these fleeting moments that will forever be remembered.
