Hey lovers — welcome!

Whether you’ve been together for years or just a little while, celebrating your love is always a good idea! This session is all about capturing you—the real, everyday moments, the laughter, the connection, and those little quirks that make your relationship uniquely yours. No fancy labels or milestones needed here—just two people in love with photographs that will be cherished forever. This guide will walk you through what to expect, how to prepare, and how to make the most of your session. Think of it as your go-to for fun, relaxed, and authentic photos that feel like you. Can’t wait to capture your story!

When to book your couple session:

There’s no set rule for when you have to book your couple session—it's all about what works best for you! Ideally a month in advance is perfect.

Who is involved:

Couple sessions are all about you two as a couple, pets are always welcome (especially if they’re part of your love story!). Just give me a heads-up so I can plan accordingly and bring a few sneaky treats. 🐾 This session is all about celebrating your connection—whatever that looks like for you.

When is the best time for your session?

For the most flattering, magical lighting, I recommend scheduling your session during golden hour – at sunrise or sunset. These times offer soft, dreamy light and a beautiful backdrop - and we can even schedule it in to capture blue hour - when the sky turns pink after the sun disappears or appears.

What to bring to your session:

While you really don’t need to bring anything but your beautiful selves, a few little extras can add a personal touch and help tell your story:

  • Props that feel like you – Think picnic blanket, guitar, books, motorbike helmets—whatever fits your vibe as a couple.
  • Vehicles - If you guys are car enthusiasts (like me), bring it along - dirt roads at dusk make for moody, cinematic photos with your vehicle in the spotlight.
  • Coffee or hot chocolate – A couple of mugs for hot chocolate, tea, or coffee—because nothing says romance like snuggling up by a campfire with something warm in hand.
  • Accessories – Hats, jackets, sunglasses, flowers, or anything that adds personality to your photos.
  • Sentimental items – Love letters, gifts you’ve exchanged, or even something from your first date.

Basically, if it reflects who you are together or makes the session feel more you, bring it! If you’re unsure, feel free to shoot me a message and we’ll plan it together.

What to wear:

When it comes to outfits, comfort and confidence are key. Choose pieces that feel like you, photograph beautifully, and allow you to move freely—we’ll be running, spinning, cuddling, and chasing the golden light!

Here are a few tips to help you feel and look your best:

  • Flowy dresses are always a fave—they add beautiful movement and suit every season. Think soft tones, earthy colours, or subtle patterns.
  • Knitwear, linen, and textured fabrics photograph so beautifully and add a natural, cosy touch.
  • Coordinate, don’t match—opt for complementary colours and tones rather than identical outfits.
  • Avoid bold logos, neon colours, and loud prints—these can distract from the connection we’re capturing. No Apple Watches please (fake tan may be needed for your wrists)
  • Please skip the heels! My sessions are all about having fun, we’ll likely be walking and running over grass, sand, or uneven ground, and I want you to feel totally at ease.

If you’re unsure, bring a second outfit option, and I’m more than happy to help you decide on the day or in the lead-up!

Need styling help?

If you're unsure about what to wear or would love a second opinion, feel free to send me photos of your outfit ideas – I’m always happy to help you style your session!

Locations

Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours exploring, refining, and photographing some of the most breathtaking spots across the Yarra Valley and Victorian High Country. Each location I offer has been carefully chosen for its natural beauty, lighting potential, and the way it reflects my signature style — open spaces, elevated views, and raw, emotional storytelling. You’ll notice many of these spots are perched high, overlooking rolling hills, misty mountains, or vast open skies — this perspective is something that speaks to my soul and is woven into every session I create.

From riverside hideaways and lush fern forests to golden fields and snow-dusted peaks, these locations have been thoughtfully selected to give you a truly unique and unforgettable photography experience. Whether you're planning a maternity session, family portraits, or a romantic elopement, I have options to suit every season and style — all within reach of Marysville, Healesville, Mansfield, Alexandra, and beyond.

Let’s find the perfect place to tell your story.

album designs & print orders

When it comes to preserving your memories, nothing compares to the quality of a professionally printed album or fine art print. While it might be tempting to order prints from a local store or online retailer, those prints often don’t do justice to the beauty of your photos. Professional labs use high-end materials, ensuring that every image is printed with stunning clarity and color accuracy that will last for generations. The albums I offer are crafted with premium quality paper, durable covers, and custom options that reflect the elegance of your session. These aren’t just photos—they’re heirlooms that will be passed down, telling the story of your journey in the best possible way. Trust me, there’s no better way to showcase your memories than with beautifully printed products that stand the test of time.

I also offer 6x4 prints so you can easily create your own photo collection. Trust me, there’s no better way to showcase your memories than with beautifully printed products that stand the test of time.
