Angela and Sam’s wedding at the stunning Boat O’ Craigo was nothing short of breathtaking. With just three months of planning, this love-filled day unfolded effortlessly — from a misty morning start to clear blue skies just in time for their “I dos.” Their heartfelt celebration proves that you don’t need years to create a day that’s meaningful, beautiful, and unforgettable.
A Whirlwind Plan with a Dream Team
Organising a wedding in just three months might sound daunting, but with the right people behind you, it’s totally doable. Jamiee, the event coordinator at Boat O’ Craigo, was an absolute powerhouse — calm, kind, and incredibly organised. She made the entire process seamless for Angela and Sam.
Shaun, their celebrant from @ceremoniesbyshaun, brought warmth, humour, and heartfelt emotion to the ceremony. His laid-back style, paired with genuine passion, was the perfect fit for this couple, who had described themselves multiple times (over Zoom!) as being “awkward in front of the camera.” You’d never know it by looking at the photos — the joy and connection between them was undeniable.

THE FIRST LOOK
One of the most emotional moments of the day was Angela’s first look with her dad. These quiet, pre-ceremony moments were deeply moving — full of love, tears, and pride. It was a beautiful reminder of the bonds that weddings celebrate beyond the couple themselves.

THAT DRESS!
Let’s talk about Angela’s gown from Fairytales Bridal Boutique — a minimalist masterpiece that stole the show. With an elegant cowl neckline, a subtle yet glamorous beaded belt, and a fluid silhouette that flowed like silk, it was timeless perfection. The dress photographed so beautifully against the stone and glass of Boat O’ Craigo’s architecture — one of those rare gowns that looks even better in real life than on the hanger (and that’s saying something!). The bride’s choice of embroidered white boots added the perfect modern country twist — stylish, bold, and completely “her.”

the venue: BOat o' craigo
Tucked away in the heart of the Yarra Valley, Boat O’ Craigo is a venue that truly has it all. Although we missed the lush green vines of summer, the autumnal vineyard rows and golden trees created stunning backdrops everywhere we turned.
The newly renovated reception space is a dream — flooded with natural light, sleek and spacious, yet intimate. It feels contemporary while still honouring the rustic vineyard charm. It’s the kind of space that transforms easily, whether you're planning an elegant soiree or a relaxed gathering.

From the first Zoom calls filled with laughter and nerves to their final dance under clear skies, Angela and Sam’s wedding was full of heart and soul. Their journey is a reminder that love doesn’t wait for the “perfect” time or the “perfect” conditions — it shows up, rain or shine (or fog!), and creates something unforgettable.
